Chase Personal Online

Goal

1. Provide a more personalized easy to use experience for the core of our banking customers. .

2. Create the first redesign of the secure side of the banking online system.

3. Develop a responsive system that can work across channels and platforms, including ATM.

Result

The responsive design has been launched for 64 million customers. We watch closely how adoption to the new site is perceived and continually adjust to give the best possible experience.

  1. The Kickoff

After a 10 year hiatus, our design team that was assigned the task to redesign the entire online experience for Chase.com

This was such an exciting undertaking. Chase.com is a site the host 70+ million customer and we were going to flip it on its ear.

2.Early Concepts & Lo-Fi Wires

I was assigned to Online Payment. As a group our thesis was to give users the impression that making a payment with Chase, was as easy as sending an email.

3.Color, Layout & Refinement

As a group, we built each multiple section simultaneously (payments, account, profile) so we could lock in color, style and general layout that eventually built out a refined design language.

4.Redlines & Bluelines

As we locked in on the final visuals, we crafted detailed specs, style guides and blueline properties for development to build from.

5.Final Release

With a phased release, the work we did with payments went to 70 helped establish a president and many of the patterns have been utilized across the company wide.
